Our purpose is to:
CONNECT people who have recently moved to Adelaide to help make their transition easier
INFORM people of existing and emerging opportunities in the high-tech, space, defence, ag-tech, health and bio-med, energy and mining, tourism and the creative industries
ATTRACT people to move for the lifestyle and for work opportunities, which in turn generates investment and tourism revenue
PROMOTE the state on the global stage. We are here to build an international and interstate community to help grow South Australia’s economy and promote diversity and inclusion
Adelaide Connected is a program, run by the Committee for Adelaide, designed for people who are considering a move to South Australia or have recently moved and want to learn more about our city, the opportunities, the lifestyle, and most importantly, the connections that can be made.
We are here to help facilitate introductions and connect you.
Job opportunities are available in industries such as space, defence, food and agribusiness, health, energy and minerals, tourism and the creative industries as well as hi-tech.
Our team are here to connect you with networking and organisations that can make your transition to Adelaide much easier.
The Committee for Adelaide brings together businesses, industry bodies, community and government to shape one of the most liveable cities in Australia.
We are non-partisan, independent and sector agnostic.
Our membership is diverse and influential, making a significant contribution to the economy and society. Our members collectively employ over 40,000 South Australians and all have a clear and vested interest in our future.
The Committee’s work centres around people, business and capital, and how the interconnection of these areas and their relationship to one another largely determine the economic and cultural health of our society.
We are focussed on harnessing the strengths, passion and insights of our members and partners to shape the future of Greater Adelaide.
